Hello Leanne!

You may not yet understand anything that I am to write, but I am very sure that in time, you will. You are only 2yrs & 10months old. :)

As I have always been, I proact on things that I think may happen. I got this from your Lolo as he always give me the word 'antimano' ever since I was 5yrs old. It was scribed deeply in my mind since then. Call me paranoid, but this liham para sa 'yo.

Where do I start? How about I start about the future. Your nanay and I have firmly decided that we'll migrate somewhere. Right now, we have a pending application to Canada. It was on September 4, 2006 when we applied it; I was 33yrs and 1 day old. That was the date when we were about to go back to US after the wake of your Lolo. Anyway, you may ask why migrate? You may also blame us later on why we came about with this decision. You Nanay and I just don't see a bright future for the new Filipinos. I have been an advocate of patriotism since my school days; I was so hopeful that I can make a difference in my country. But that has changed...especially when I started a family. We are going to move away from our folks in the hope that Canada will provide you a great future. Surely they will miss us, perhaps especially your Lolo and Lolas, but we will try really hard to come back home every now and then...promise! My only fear by executing this plan is the culture shock this environment change would affect you. I pray that you will somehow instill some Filipino values within you; even if you'd be sourounded with different other cutures. Part of which, is for you not to date before 18yrs old (no kidding!). :)
