Happy Birthday Anak!

Happy 3rd Birthday Anak!!!

Sige anak, me meeting pa si Tatay.

Ingat ka lagi. God bless.

love,
Tatay

IPBC 2008 Open Tournament

IPBC 2008 Open Tournament: The Final Rec Hall Smash
By
10/16/2008

No rain could stop the “baddicts” from playing their hearts out in the recently held IPBC Open Tournament. The tournament saw CV’s badminton enthusiasts – players and spectators alike – enjoying three days filled with not only the games but also food in a competitive but friendly atmosphere.

The tournament opened last October 7, 2008 with a short prayer and opening message from the IPBC execom, followed by a short raffle program and snacks for everyone. The opening day was made even more exciting with an exhibition game between Intel and Numonyx (represented by Lester De Guzman, Jo Daluraya and Arthemus Campena) with Intel winning the Men’s and Mixed doubles games.

Even with the downpour on Day 2, the Rec hall was filled with 24 pairs battling it out for the Men’s Doubles’ title. The competitions were so intense that games were extended until 8 pm and some were even rescheduled to the next day. Truly, our men know how to play hard.

The competition reached fever level on the last day as 24 couples again set foot on court to vie for the Mixed Doubles title. Following the Day 2 format, the group was divided by skill level into 4 groups of 6 pairs each. Despite some last minute changes in the lineup and a minor casualty on the side, the players still enjoyed the games. The day ended with everyone in high spirits.

Thanks a lot to all the participants, officers (Carlo Lorenzo - IPBC Execom President and Noli Soliza & Van Villamor - Internal Affairs), Employee Programs (Jules Sta. Brigida), and IDPC shooters for the excellent support! Keep on Smashing!

Congratulations to all the Winners of INTEL IPBC 2008 Open Tournament !!!

That's me anak, yung naka-orange! :)
